On a recent antiques buying trip to Oklahoma we made a stop at the Pioneer Woman’s Mercantile!

We are sisters and teachers who share a love of vintage books!

We are sisters from the great state of Texas who inherited an antiques-filled 120 year old home several years ago from our mother. That house was filled to the brim with lovely vintage items, including books!

We are both recently retired public school teachers who have long desired to open a brick and mortar bookstore, as we both love books. We have since rented a booth in an antique mall, opened an Etsy vintage shop, and are now thrilled to be sharing our love of vintage books in an Etsy bookstore!

While we currently specialize in vintage children's books and cookbooks, we do also offer other titles that catch our eyes. We search high and low for high quality, unique, and oftentimes difficult to find titles, and we are proud to share them with you!
